Digital Account Director

Job Description

The Digital Account Director is primarily responsible for the management of relationships with existing clients/partner agencies and finding new potential clients. As the senior point of contact for DKMads clients, the Digital Account Director also coordinates the resources needed to service projects, builds strategic operational plans, and balances the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work. Prepare long-term and short-term goals and account objectives.


  • Build trust and long-term relationships with clients/partner agencies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to finding new potential clients.
  • Manage records of sales, revenue, and other important data.
  • Motivate team members to exceed expected goals.
  • Estimate and establish cost parameters, budgets, campaigns, and potential ROI.
  • Supervise account management and strategies.
  • Represent the company to portfolio clients.
  • Evaluate employee performance and review employee goals.
  • Negotiate contracts on behalf of the company.
  • Encourage account manager and officers to bring in new clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales quotas.
  • Present reports on account progress, quotas, and goals to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree.
    • Five (5) years or more of relevant experience as an account manager, director, or related title in the industry.
    • Up to date on latest digital industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently.
    • Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
    • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
    • Organized and able to create multiple timelines, budgets, and schedules for each client’s campaigns.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Strong knowledge of clientele and superior customer service skills.
    • Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead.
    • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
    • Solid negotiation skills and ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with clients and management.
    • Significant experience in professional client relationship management.
    • A background in advertising, design or marketing.
    • The ability to plan and strategies at a senior level.
    • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects.
    • Effective team management capabilities.
    • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques in digital platforms.
