Job Description

A Business Development Manager entails a whole gamut of responsibilities that ensure seamless and smooth operations across various verticals of the company and generate long term capital advantage by bridging the gap between the business and its clients. If you are prepared to be a pivotal part of a forward-thinking digital agency and have the strategic, marketing, client servicing and negotiation skills to sell your company’s digital intelligence portfolio to existing and new clients.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, effective and high return integrated marketing services campaigns, aligning with event sponsorship opportunities
  • Use these campaigns and the relationships that can be established off the back of them to drive retention and growth with the existing client base, working with the Advertising and Marketing team as appropriate
  • Work with colleagues to identify new prospective clients, track and diligently follow up all prospects to continually feed your sales pipeline with qualified leads
  • Maintain an active schedule of face-to-face appointments and prospecting calls
  • Negotiate and be responsible for all contracts, closely following all established ways of working and protocols
  • Work with our program management team to oversee your clients’ campaigns and regularly communicate performance results
  • Ensure that you constantly manage your sales activity and pipeline to ensure you meet all revenue targets and are able to provide timely, reliable revenue forecasts in real time
  • Provide wider support to your colleagues and drive best practice around digital/marketing services activity, ensuring all team members are equipped with the training and support needed to deliver a step change in revenue delivery from these sources
  • Requirements and Qualifications

    • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in digital media, social media
    • Minimum 3 years experience in digital business development manager position
    • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills
    • Excellent negotiation skills and experience of working with complex financial, legal and marketing contracts
    • Excellent in English 4 skills
    • Expertise in closing business development deals
    • Knowledge of digital analytics (Facebook Blueprint, Google AdWords certified preferred), online media trends and updates
    • A keen interest in digital media with a passion to follow digital and advertising trends
    • Highly motivated, organized self-starter with the ability to multitask under pressure
    • Be open to travel for client meetings and new business development
